Project: Document Generator
VMI's Document Generator for Microsoft CRM facilitates the process of creating, tracking and analyzing custom correspondence.
The program maintains a "paragraphs database" of standardized text that includes a user-defined code for each paragraph. One or more paragraph codes are entered into a User Defined Field (UDF) in MSCRM (along with an optional opening line, closing line and signature block code). Document Generator then creates an MS Word document (for an individual Contact record or in "batch" mode for a Group or Account Filter of Contact Records) from the codes entered into the UDF. Document Generator creates a History record that records the paragraph codes and versions used for the creation of that specific document.
The paragraphs database maintains the exact text of each revision made to each paragraph. An unlimited number of revisions can be created for each paragraph. By utilizing the information recorded in the History record and by matching it to the revision record in the paragraph database.

Project: Web Import 1.0
The objective of VMI Web Import is to allow direct data input from an HTML web form into GoldMine. The standard GoldMine approach uses a CGI script that creates a MAILTO item that sends an e-mail message with the data as per GoldMine "business rules". When the message is read via the GoldMine e-mail reader, GoldMine recognizes the message and imports the data. If a computer is not constantly monitoring for these e-mail items, then there will be a delay in having the data available within GoldMine.

SyncRx is a tiny software tool installed on every workstation (both remote and network users). When the user enters data in the field which defines the sync set, SyncRx automatically makes the appropriate updates which assure that the new user gets ALL the data on the record in the next sync. No data is lost.
Prescription for Data Loss Prevention
SyncRx was created to prevent data loss during synchronization. It is designed for synchronization scenarios where remote users receive a subset of the entire database, or where contact records are entered into a master database and later sent to a remote user.

Project: History Achiver
The objective of History Archiver is to copy GoldMine History and Filed Mailbox (completed E-Mail) records to a pair of archive files (one for History, one for Mailbox), delete the records from GoldMine and then synchronize the deletions (per user option) to other GoldMine systems within the organization.
The benefit of History Archiver is the following: archiving data from one or more years ago frees up drive space and allows systems to run faster when processing History data for synchronization, Filters and Reports and daily backup. Archiving preserves the data and prohibits them from being inadvertently deleted or changed.The procedure can be run for the current Contact Record, a Group of Contact records or all Contact Records. The program works with both dBase and SQL-based systems but the data are archived into DBF files which can be removed after the procedure is complete.

The objective of the Multi Database Lookup program is to facilitate the process of simultaneously reviewing GoldMine contact data from more than one data source.
By using Multi Database Lookup, you can keep your current clients and best prospects in your Main GoldMine System and your suspects or marginal prospects in the Alternative Data Source (perhaps these data come from a purchased list, a legacy database or their accounting system).
When a sales or other business inquiry comes in via telephone or any another means, you can use Multi Database Lookup to quickly locate the contact data you need in one or the other database and then work efficiently to respond to the inquiry

AutoBuild is a designer utility to automatically configure Goldmine (CRM Package) with user defined screens, fields and lookup values at fly. An excellent feature of this utility is the data being read from a preformatted excel sheet. Win32 and Goldmine APIs are used to interact with MS Excel and Goldmine respectively. The VB application gets the values from the excel sheet and then logs on into Goldmine and generates the customizations at fly. This utility is giving much practical benefit to the organization by curtailing the customization time periods from many days to few hours.
