Provide all levels of support, administration and customization for SalesLogix and Clientele applications. Upgraded Clientele from 7.0 to 7.2. Upgraded SalesLogix from 4.0 to 5.2 to 5.2.3 to 6.0 over a 14 month period. Created and implemented a disaster recovery/backup plan for all enterprise applications, including back office accounting product. SQL Server DBA/Developer for 12 GB database, 260 tables, 671 stored procedures. This database supported over 2 million visitors in May 2000. There are a number of other databases supporting jobs.com, all of which I have responsibility for. I am one of four DBAs for the company. Involved with numerous projects, including On-line resume, Resume Bank enhancement, warm database backup, revenue reporting initiative and incorporating Canadian postal code information into our database.

Prepared a disaster recovery plan for Dallas and Houston offices.
Restored Houston server after hard drive failure.
Created small Visual Basic application to automate process of clearing locked records in database.

Internal Network Administrator/DBA (Nov 1998 - Jan 2000)

Accomplishments include:

Created a commissions database to pull information from Macola Accounting system (Btrieve back-end) into SQL Server 7.0, and generated reports using Access 97. These reports were used by the CEO to pay all of the salespeople.
Assisted in implementing Pivotal’s Relationship CRM package.
Created a collections database to more accurately track slow and non-paying customers and resolve before they reached the 60+ category. This was also a Macola/Btrieve to SQL Server to Access 97 process.
Converted all Access 97 databases to Access 2000 to support Office 2000 rollout. Stabilized all of these applications by re-writing or removing approximately 50% of the VBA code.
Deployed all new desktops to the inside staff.
Maintained all NT servers, SQL Server, Exchange server, IIS web servers, etc.

Budget Analyst for Frito-Lay, IT department (Mar 1998 – Nov 1998)

Provided budget analysis, modeling, reconciliation, etc. for software, hardware, telecom, contract labor, and delivery truck computer hardware for FY1998. Provided much of the support in preparing the FY1999 budgets for same. Created an Access database to manage contract labor for over 200 contractors. This program helped catch approximately $50K in billing errors each 4 week period.

District Account Representative (Jun 1996 - Feb 1998)

Managed staff of 12 Financial Account Representatives. Inventory auditing, workflow analysis and structuring, accounts receivable dispute resolution. Heavy credit analysis (up to $500K) and collections, including UCC filings, contracts and personal guarantees. Required in-depth analysis of un-audited customer financials, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement. Created an Access database to import mainframe information uploaded nightly by my team and analyze for route structuring.

Sr. Customer Service Rep. (Sep 1994 - May 1996)

Light credit analysis, including file prep and credit line approval up to $50K, with manager’s authorization. Very heavy collections efforts with continuing customers. Continued use of reconciliation procedures to identify erroneous payments/applications.

Financial Account Representative (May 1991 - Sep 1994)

Traveled 4-5 nights per week conducting inventory audits to ensure compliance of wholesale credit agreements (floorplanning). Used my accounting education heavily to track payments made by customers that were either applied incorrectly, or recorded incorrectly on customer books. Some light sales work. Some credit analysis.
