IBM S.A.: SAP Consultant – DS/DM and GD work stream
- Nestle S.A. – Globe Program
Contribution: 12/2002 - to present. Considering I am certified on the CRM side along with my expertise on the SD side, I began working on the Generating Demand work stream of the Andean Region within the CRM sales team implementing mySAP CRM Mobile Sales (market roll-out in Santiago de Chile).
My responsibilities include:
- Provide business expertise in pricing and sales order processing. (R/3 – CRM – MSY – MSA – AMT)
- Provide input to training and documentation specialists to assist in the development of appropriate end-user procedures to support individual market process changes.
- Key role in supporting sales order entry from MSA to R/3 (technical and functional support)
Contribution: 05/2002 to 03/2003. Worked as a Data Expert in DS/DM work stream of Andean Region (pilot market) within the CRM 3.0 / Mobile Sales (MSA), QM and P2P modules, providing SAP Master Data knowledge and migration know-how when converting Master Data, Transactional and Historical Data from legacy to the GLOBE mySAP.com applications.
My responsibilities included:
- Supporting legacy data experts in the process of Mapping Master Data from Legacy to SAP system
- Ensuring end-to-end quality of Master Data migration process from legacy to the mySAP.com environment
- Executing conversion load programs during the go live cut over.
- Organizing, managing and loading data.
Contribution: 01/2002 to 04/2002. Worked as an SAP Master Data expert in the DS/DM work stream in Vevey, Swiss. Responsible for defining the process of extracting, transforming and loading the data into mySAP.com system, by defining the functional specifications, testing the programs; liaising with SAP configurer to ensure Master Data conversion fulfilled the Business Processes requirements and formalizing all the process documenting the Master Data migration process.

PricewaterhouseCoopers: SAP Consultant – Sales and Distribution (SD)
Unilever Latin America, large manufacturing holding dedicated to the production, distribution and sales of foods and hygienic products.
- The project consisted of the regional redesigning of transactional processes in order to achieve the systems and processes convergence for all the South American subsidiaries and the preparation of the Business Case for the countries in the region. The scope involved 19 countries, the internal supply chain and financial supporting processes, the SAP System (integrated with Manugistics, Peoplesoft, among other systems) and approximately 7.000 end users.
- I integrated the SD Team in Sao Paulo, Brazil (November ‘01-December’01)
- Main responsibilities: Prototyping of the model for Delivery and Transportation Process (SAP R/3 - 4.6D). Some specific thing in this project were: batch determination with FPC.

PricewaterhouseCoopers: SAP Consultant – Project Leader
Cigarrera Bigott, part of the British American Tobacco from England, Massive Consume Company (July’01 to Oct.’01 and December’01 to January’02).
The project consisted in the development of the new practice AOS (Application Outsourcing Services), in Caracas, Venezuela and transfer knowledge to Regional Support Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Worked as a project leader being responsible of a team formed by 5 consultants from different modules, and responsible to find improvements in SD module as a QA consultant.
Acted as process consultant and SAP R/3 specialist during the process redesign duties with emphasis in Sales & Distribution, in such a way to adapt the old process to existing software possibilities; took part in the design drawing up and implementation to be used for SAP R/3.

PricewaterhouseCoopers: SAP Consultant – Sales and Distribution (SD)
OCA S.A., Skycab S.A., OCASA S.A., Service Companies part of a large multinational group of companies. Their activities are concentrated in the postal service. Its headquarters are located in Buenos Aires, Argentina
The scope of the project included the SAP R/3- v.4.5B. modules of SD (Sales and Distribution); FI/CO (Financial and Controlling); PA (Profitability Analysis); MM (Material Management) and Plant Maintenance. Duration was over 12 months plus five months for post-implementation support (October ‘99-March’01). The system is accessed from the headquarter and 140 branches and Operative Centers allocated all around Argentina.
Some specific and relevant things in this implementation are: variant configuration, serial numbers functionality and the large number of necessary development in ABAP/4 to be in tune with the industrial business process.
- I participated in the project of SAP implementation as a team member of the SD consultants. I was in charge of the D.E. business process (it represents the 44% of the billing) and I worked as responsible for the module during the post-implementation phase.
- My responsability included the following processes: auditing; conceptual design; redefinition of circuits; customizing; developing specifications for: conversion of main data, definition of profiles and trainning.
- My participation in the SD customization included the following fields: variant configuration, pricing procedure, order type and invoicing. I was responsible for some user exits and copy controls.

Legacy H&L: SAP consultant – Sales & Distribution
Mastercard Argentina, firm dedicated to provide financial services, subsidiary of a well known North American credit card company, with offices in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mastercard Uruguay, with offices in the city of Montevideo, Uruguay
Pegaso S.A., company dedicated to the publication, distribution and promotion of magazines, part of a group of companies of financial services, subsidiary of a Mastercard Argentina.
The project consisted in the design review of the logistic processes and the implementation in two stages of the following units: Sales and Distribution; Finance; Controlling; Profit Analysis and Materials Management of SAP R/3 4.0B, 7 months and 1 month of post-implementation duration (February ’99 – September ’99).
I was in charge of the SD module implementation and I participated in all the stages of the project, including the initial analysis and redesign of business processes, the customizing of the system, and the follow up of the implementation during the post-production stage.
My participation was based in the following subjects: Billing procedure, price’s plan, tax location, Logistics Information System – SIS.
