In my role as a Siebel Configuration Lead and Siebel Configurator my responsibilities included requirement gathering, design, data mapping, configuration, unit testing, system testing and developing the GuinnessUDV Siebel Escript standards.
This also included participation in Siebel Design Reviews, Siebel Configuration Reviews and Siebel VB reviews.
I have extensively, designed, developed and tested solutions using Siebel Tools, Siebel Escript, Siebel VB, Workflow Manager, Assignment Manager, Actuate, Email Manager, State Model, Siebel Remote, Siebel Anywhere, Repository Migrations, PL/SQL and EIM.
I have worked closely with Deloitte & Touche during this time in which I have enhanced my communication, documentation and process skills.
Eircom, Dublin May 1999 – May 2001
In my role as a Siebel Interface Developer my responsibilities included the design, development and testing of several real-time interfaces between Siebel and several backend inventory, order provisioning and fault tracking systems. These include client side, server side, uni-directional and bi-directional interfaces. This required an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Siebel Tools, Siebel COM Data Server, Siebel COM Application Server, MS Visual C++, MFC, ATL, STL, ActiveX, MQ Series, Siebel VB and Siebel Workflow Manager.
In my role as a Siebel Configurator my responsibilities included requirement gathering, design, design reviews, data mapping, configuration and unit and system testing. This also included participation in Siebel Configuration Reviews and Siebel VB reviews.
I extensively designed, developed and tested solutions using Siebel Tools, Siebel VB and Actuate.
I was also involved with the design, development and testing of solutions using and Workflow Manager, Assignment Manager and Email Agent.
I have worked closely with Andersen Consulting for 12 months and in that time I have acquired excellent configuration, documentation, process and communication skills. Documentation included high-level designs, screen shots, detailed level designs, data-mapping spreadsheets, configuration logs, and inventory logs.
In my other roles as the Siebel VB Lead, Testing Lead and Technical Analyst my responsibilities included (a) internal Siebel VB code reviews, Eircom Siebel VB Standards, development of
several VB applications using the Siebel COM Data Server and Automation Server, (b) system testing, user acceptance testing, field level, unit and product testing, (c) CRM product evaluation and selection, and technical analysis of Siebel, Clarify and Vantive and CTI.

In my roles as a Developer/Analyst my responsibilities included requirement gathering, design, development, unit testing and system testing and providing technical support. I also implemented a change management program and a staff-training program. I was involved in an upgrade form VB 4.0 to VB 5 and from Windows 95 to Windows NT. The technologies used were Visual Basic 4.0/5.0, Crystal Reports, Access 95/97, Windows 95 and Windows NT.
MJ Software Solutions (Contract) May 1998 - June 1998
In my role as a Developer I developed a solution to the Euro symbol keyboard problem.
This solution included the symbol in several fonts, mapping the new character to the EU
recommended keyboard position, and compatibility with Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. The
technologies used were keyboard mapping, fontography, Windows 3.1 and Windows 95
Coillte Sept 1994 - May 1998
In my roles as Developer/Researcher I developed a Decision Support Tool to assist in forestry management decisions. I developed multiple prototypes using various Artificial Intelligence strategies and the most successful prototype was selected for further development. This was project was run in conjunction with Trinity College Dublin, and I was awarded a research Masters degree. The technologies used were C and Unix.

In my role as a Lecturer/Tutor I was responsible for teaching students, at a variety of levels, several programming languages including C++, C, Pascal and Assembly. Software packages taught included Excel, Access, Netscape Navigator, HTML and AutoSketch.
LSB College (Contract) Sept 1996 - May 1997
In my role as Lecturer I was responsible for teaching several IT Courses which included MIS, IT & Tourism, and software packages which included Word, Excel and Access. I also designed several IT courses, which included Business Programming, Internet Programming and System Analysis and Design. These included VB, VC++, Java, Web Design, HTML and SDLCs.
