Customer Relationship Management Applications and Consulting Experience

October 2002 to Current, GoDec, Inc. a Boston area based company, is a privately held company that is committed to delivering innovative solutions, created specifically for small to medium businesses. GoBiz, GoDEC's flagship product, enables businesses to manage all interactions with customers from initial contact, to closing the deal, to servicing, supporting, and maintaining the relationship over a long period of time. Based on customer relationship management concepts, GoBiz supports not only the sales and service functions, but takes it to the next stage - it helps companies focus on the entire relationship with a customer. This product is web based, but is different than ASP products in that the customer owns it, instead of renting it.

Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Responsibilities include P&L, Marketing, Business Development and Sales for the GoBiz product. Brought an alpha level product to market in less than one year from company being founded. Set up several Value Added Resellers and Master Distributors upon coming on board. Won accounts ranging from upgrading tier three CRM user and up to Tier One CRM users to the GoBiz product.

March 2000 to July 2002, ePartners, Inc. a Dallas based company that selects, implements, deploys and manages leading Microsoft-based business solutions for middle market companies. As the largest global partner for Microsoft Great Plains, Solomon, Best Software (previously Sage), SalesLogix and Siebel's Mid-Market Edition, ePartners bills themselves as the safe choice for companies looking to benefit from middle market business solutions.

Director of eCRM for the Northeast. Responsibilities include P&L, Marketing, Business Development and Sales for all Front Office Applications in the Northeast. Led the northeast region to platinum status with 2 publishers in 4th quarter. Led the northeast region over all other regions for ePartners in front office sales. Several deals were over $1MM in total revenue.

Responsible for team building, team culture, and team integration (internally with other departments of ePartners and externally with software publishers). $2 MM personal and $8 MM team quota. The Northeast led all other regions in sales, in fact, was 236% of quota.

Led by example, built sales teams by setting sales goals, monitoring sales improvement programs and rated each sales person by performance. Always started at the "C" level in going after new business.

Employment at ePartners was a direct result of the tremendous success in delivering CRM solutions experienced at ThunderBolt Technologies, Inc. a company co-founded by myself in 1990 and sold to ePartners in March, 2000.

    Past History

    Career began in software and computers in 1975, and spent the next 15 years selling minicomputers to various vertical markets throughout the Northeast. Throughout the 1980’s was an exceptional performer in sales and sales management, as evidenced by the many awards and president’s club trips accumulated through superior performance. Evolved from Direct Sales to Branch Manager experiencing all aspects of sales and sales management.

    In 1985, co-founded Genesis Software in Easton, Massachusetts, a firm dedicated to providing accounting and patientcare services to long term care facilities, nationwide. While responsible for the total sales function, gained an unprecedented 80% market share in New England. Developed the 1st functional system for voice recognition of Nurse Note’s entry. Set up complete VAR channel for Patient Care software.
